Best Card for Aion up to 250$

looking for some new GPU for Aion to run it in full HD with best details possible. Is it even possible to find it for that price? I was thinking about ATI HD4850 or GF260. Any other sugestions?

No idea what cards are generally better for this game ATI or Nvidia. Its only for Aion i dont play other games.

Rest of my comp is:

CPU: E7400 OC 3,4GHz
Mobo: MSI P45 Neo2-FR MOA Edition
2GB DDR2 800MHz

HD4890 will give you your cheapest and fastest card. 4850 is cheaper, but not as nice obviously.

But, been reading ATI is having issues with Aion after the release, but not during beta. So maybe want to go with nVidia 275 or something instead.

Just want to make sure you are aware there have been reported issues with ATI and Aion in high populated citys. Other than that, it's the card I have, and it is amazing. I would sell you mine though if the 5870s were available and I had the extra cash to upgrade!

HD4870 is a good Price/performance deal. The HD4890 is faster, but less performance/price.

The HD4850 is a nice lil stick of rape, and you can get it for like $70 on newgg OB.

its not a lag issue its that when there are allot of ppl around the game just crashes 1 of my friends has been having the problem since the game went live

from what he describe to me any time theres like more then 20 other ppl on screen the game almost always crashes

tho i have other friends with ATI cards with no problems at all so its all luck weather your gonna have a problem or not

and nvidia cards aren't problem free either but the problem is allot more manageable when atl+tabing around sometimes when coming back to aion all you get is a black screen everything still works you just cant see anything

tho that's only happened 3-4 times to me since launch but never in CB or OB.iam thinking its an sli problem tho since only 1 other person in my legion with nvidia cards that it happens to is using SLI as well.

with any luck they will solve both problems in coming patches so go with witchever brand you prefer but if you wanna be safe go with an nvidia card.also only nvidia cards have physx so if thats something your interesed in your only choice is an nvidia card.

physx imo isen't all that but there are times in some games where it really shines(mirror's edge for 1 and from what ive heard the new batman game as well and theres others iam sure)

I'd like to add that the crash problem happens not only with ati. I have a nVidia card and the same thing plagues me... And I'm not using SLI. (nothing like that happened in beta or C-Aion though :<)
