    Muramasa: The Demon Blade

If you have a Wii, buy this game~

This is another awesome game from Vanillaware, the guys who made GrimGrimoire and Odin Sphere, two of the best games on the PS2.

If you havent played one of those two games, give them a shot, they are great action/strat/rts/rpgs. Not only is the gameplay great, it has some of the most beautiful art you can find in a game; all 2D drawn.

Muramasa continues the awesomeness, and is great fun.

If you buy it soon, you may have a chance to get a really nice artwork bonus from GameStop if they have leftovers.

Ughhh, I want this so badly. Odin Sphere and GrimGrimoire are two of my most memorable games on the PS2. I can't wait to play this game.

I played it last week and it was loads of fun; I just can't buy anything for a while since I'm dropping $450 on the Rock Band Beatles kit and the guitars. xD

I'd definitely be buying it if it were on 360 or PS3.

The gameplay totally reminds me of a really fleshed out, stylized version of ..the Kirby form you get when you swallow swordsmen. lol Do waaant.

Since I'm in one of the slowest regions in world when it comes to gaming (poor Aussies), I'm looking to import this. I was wondering, would using things like TP hack work for importing games to play on a PAL console? Or are there any other (perhaps more recent) methods that I should be aware of when it comes to playing imported games?

At risk of attracting the rage of a certain cow, you can download this game and play it on the Dolphin emulator. It runs at 60fps for me, and at a higher res than the Wii.

I did buy the game, but it looks so much nicer on my PC

Maybe it's just me but after I got to Oswald's scenario in Odin Sphere, I lost interest in the game because going through everyone's POV just felt redundant to me especially revisiting the same stages over and over again.

I had my eye on Muramasa but I didn't keep tabs on it. Can anyone tell me anything about it gameplay wise? I'm not very picky and always looking to increase my Wii library if it's something that's gonna be memorable.

Did the devs give any further word regarding a potential 360/PS3 port? They already mentioned in an interview that all the source artwork was initially done at a higher resolution, so it'd be an easy port for them in the grand scheme of things since they wouldn't have to revamp the graphics for the 720p/1080p resolutions.

I got the same feeling from Odin Sphere, here is something I read that seems to sum up the feeling about Muramasa compared to OS. I've not had a chance to play this game yet, but I'm looking to try it soon.
The general consensus seems to be that this is a superior product with signifigantly more complex platforming and combat and more refined gameplay in other aspects, if you didnt like odin-sphere because it was repetitive you may like this one just fine
