Duo/Trio Camp Thread

Let's start a list of decent camps you guys have heard of or been too please. I am mostly interested in the small party camps myself but solo or anything else is welcome too.

These are the camps I've found so far. The level may vary depending on your gear and playstyle.

Theobomos Zombie Camp - South Western part of the map
Duo 22-25
Trio 20-23

The zombies do a ton of damage if you can't interrupt their Consume Flesh, so either watch out for that or bring a cleric. They have amazingly low defense or HP, me and a ranger were destroying them within a full skillchain.

Coastal Region - Just ouside of Krall and the pirates.
Duo 15-18

Ton of mobs here and no aggro. I usually use this spot if I need an extra push to 20 after Krall quests are done.

Grouping to kill non eliets is probaby the slowest way to get exp in the game. Solo, then group up for the harder areas/group quests.

And ffs please don't group grind in the abyss, shits retarded.

Why? My post was neither random or a question. I posted information fully relevant to the topic, as there aren't group "camps" in the game for non eliets, and even eliet areas are roaming pts not traditional camps.

Grouping to kill normal mobs is simply inefficient seeing that most classes can kill in ~20-25 seconds, stronger dps classes can kill in ~10 or less. Mobs in nos locations don't spawn fast enough to support 2 or more people killing at that speed. Not to mention that you recieve less exp per kill and you make less money while grinding.

I duo with a cleric as a ranger, which is good for me as we never have to stop killing, usually try to kill 4 dot non elites though, which usually have less health than 2 dots O.o

I could solo (as a sorc), but I started the game with a friend so we level and group together. Yeah, it`s less money while grinding, but we make do. I don`t know about slower though, but I have nothing to compare it to. I do know when I`m on his character (chanter) levelling his gathering while he`s gone and I get aggro, I really wish I had my sorc around to make the fight faster. And vice versa, when I`m on my sorc and I get aggro while gathering, I really wish I had him around to tank it instead of getting the snot beat out of me.
We have duo`d elites before, and have grouped for elites, and usually when we`re duoing normal mobs they`re higher level than us by 1-4 levels.

Anyway, that being said. We`ve recently made it through the 21-25 quest dry-spell. Grinding by duo in Brusthonin off the spirits, zombies, or elyos is kinda the pits. They do a lot of random, annoying moves. The Desert though, in Morheim, is ftw. The mobs die so much faster so the exp goes by much faster. They do occasionally run away or hide and try to run away, but with me there (sorc, again) they don`t get too far.

HE gave you a valid answer, your the one not understanding.

He said that Duo non elite = low XP, which means that it'S almost a waste of time, If you wanna do it, do it, no one will block you.

Also this isn't final fantasy just kill almost any mob at your LV for the XP there is no "real camp"

As Pooky said, group grinding on none elites is beyond the most retarded thing in the entire game. You can group grind quests, but actually group grinding just to kill shit or do repeat's is NOT the way to lv unless you want to kill yourself. Yeah you kill things faster w/ more ppl, but that aint worth it at 2-3k a pop at your lv.

It can't be all that slow, me and my partner are 35 now playing 6-7 hours a night, and that's with alot of time wasted in Abyss or running tards through Sky temple for their keys.

Right now we get 13-15k per mob every 10 seconds with no downtime which is alot faster than soloing the same mob in 25-30 seconds for ~26k and having to pot all the time - If the solo kite spawns in Mistmane weren't camped to hell on my server I'd be able to kite elites for alot faster exp but that's not an option.

Also, I really needed the duo 10-19, Ranger blew so hard then.

What? Those zombies are so squishy they are almost like the qutrubs(sp?) from FFXI, they are basically like smacking a wet bag. Also, they really don't hit that hard, then again I solo'd them from 21-25 on a Templar. Lol

This is correct. I love the people saying group grinding is less exp or somehow ruins the camps. News flash, two people killing together and two people killing solo will more or less clear an area at the same rate and will return, more or less, the same amount of experience points and loot to the duo pair (unless you want to say the distribution system is flawed).

I used the zombies solo from 22-24 as assassin, just used evasion as they got ready to use consume flesh and use it as a free stun :D
