Not sure if this has been discussed around here, but apparently some dude wrote a sequel to the Hitchhiker's Trilogy. Wanted to see if anyone has read it. I'm not sure someone can pull off Adams' style but I'll probably read it anyways.

I like the movies doubt I would read any of the books. Especially if it was written by "some dude".
Some dude also wrote a sequel to the events of FFVII. And another dude wrote an alternative universe involving Buffy the Vampire Slayer characters. Anyone read those, yet?
some dude also wrote the bible. why aren't you reading this new version of hitchikers yet?
Some dude, or The Dude? Cuz I'd read a book by The Dude

Some dude = the guy that wrote the Artemis Fowl books. Haven't read them so dunno if this was a good decision or not. (usually not)
His name is Eoin Colfer. How would one pronouce Eoin?
I'm going to re-read the Hitchhiker's series. Well, re-listen on audiobook. Then read (listen to) this one.
Might be good.
Movie=Garbage, Books=Hilarious
I loathed the movie. But the book series is probably my favourite... Adams just has a way to keep you laughing and engaged.
Who's your favourite? Douglas Adams or Terry Pratchett?
Picked it up last night, and got through the first 2 chapters before I needed sleep. So far it seems pretty good. The styles are similar, but definitely not the same. The new book also has a slightly more mature feeling to it, and definitely more swearing. So far I am liking it, especially since I hated the ending to Mostly Harmless.
