Controller problems

Hi, I started to use my Xbox 360 controller instead of this cheap ass controller i had since it broke. Now I'm using my Xbox pad it's starting to do the same thing. Basically it disconnects and reconnects randomly and will even spam certain buttons ingame.

Anyone had a problem like this and would know how to fix it plz?

Why would having fat fingers and claiming Darters have anything to do with a controller disconnecting problem, this part of the forum is for tech support not tryin to throw petty digs at people. If anyone knows how to fix my prob with my stupid controller would be greatly appreciated and loves long time <3!

My wired PS2 controller with a USB converter (Super JoyBox 5 Pro) freaks out anytime a cell phone in the house starts ringing, and presses random buttons (luckily it hasn't dropped any items doing so yet). I have issues with RF interference with all the wires running around my computer though, and my speakers would buzz until I went to optical audio going to my surround sound system. You could be having a similar issue and it could affect a wired controller.

Hey I offered a logical solution, the only time i've heard of said problem is when the controller's power is failing, but that is unlikely to happen to two wired controllers in a row.

A simple google search provides this, on Microsoft's own site, which has lots of potential solutions and doesn't involve you making a point on BG.

Thanks Bungie, I'll try movin my shit around. Mayb it's my speakers or surround sound amp or something.

Also the reason for posting a "Tech" problem under the "Tech" forums on a popular site is b/c there are actually alot of smart people out there who may have come across this problem before, since it seems to be only FFXI that it happens with for some reason.

Also, about your "logical solution" Elondir all i seem to hear is this YouTube - Baby crying so i don't quite understand what you are saying, thanks tho all the same.
