    Dredgion Point system and disc

Making this topic for all Dredgion stuff. Just did it tonight, I have a question for people who've done it...how does the point system work exactly? My asmo group wiped this Elyos group of 50's twice in a row along with killing mobs to lead the board by 500pts...they came back and killed us all once and took the lead by 700pts.

I'm looking at the board, this other assassin on Elyos has 4 pvp kills and 2 Balaur kills vs me with 16 pvp kills and 10 balaur kills and has 500 more pts o_O

Levels and ranks are probably going to play a factor here.

    Just my 2 cents.

It did seem that highest ranked person there, and Army officer rank 1 Elyos came out with the most points. I guess they give you more for going in since you might lose more AP from deaths? Not sure if deaths by players even gives AP in there.

From all 5 runs i have done the only thing that has affected the abyss points is the level range, all the level 50's get the same, however if you die and a mob is killed, or you kill an asmo out of range of other people points will start to differ i am rank 2 and we took a rank 9 who ust spent his points at level 50, but we still got the same score, the only thing i'm not sure of is the calculation of score > abyss points ration is.

Last Night we won 13k - 2k against some group bad setup, and got like 6k abyss points, but they got like 2.5k abyss points by that ratio we should of got a lot more points than we actually did.

Also if you are feeling like a total douchebag and wanna fuck up the winning group you can just aggro all of the balaur with a healer and run into them and they will not despawn as we found out the hard way last night, if you do do this though prepare to have some pissed of people campng your spawn zone.

Killing the PvE objectives gives a lot of individual points.

Kind of unfair since mages can't even hope to kill one unless you want to auto attack with fists.

I'm not sure how that affects your AP at the end of the day though.

Also if you kill the enemy group, they lose points and you gain points, so it's a very quick way of evening the scoreboard if you are down.

Dying to Balaur or the other team will make you lose alot of individual points. So tried not to die. D:

Killing PvP Objectives, Balaur, and other players, or Rank, doesn't seem to have much to do with how many points you get, if at all, at least in my experience.

The other team left about 20-25 minutes in, but this is what makes me think that none of those things affect score. The only thing I've seen lower score is deaths, but for as many points you get...

Look at this screenshot, I was the lowest rank on my team and I did the "least" according to the scoreboard, because grabbing last hits as a SM is kinda ... impossible. I still finished with the same amount of points as the Ranger who the scoreboard pretty much says fucked shit up, to say the least.

How many times did he die though? I know for a fact I've been highest on personal points and died 5 times and got sent back down to 0 so ended up getting 1500AP with the most captures/kills on my team. If you didn't die at all and he died 2 or 3 times even it probably messed up his score/AP.

Bad example but best I could come up with (pug vs premade with 50s etc):

I definately didn't do as much as Socio but since he always got focused he didn't end up with anything and I ended up with most points despite doing the least out of all our DPS.
(I ran like every time I saw two people die so I didn't die too)

I guess I should have put that in my post, but neither me or him died a single time.

There were only two deaths on our team the entire time, our Assassin and our Cleric died once each in PvP combat (hence the 2 kills on asmo side).

Oh, hmm then I guess they probably don't have much of an affect; next dredgion I'm in I'm going to watch my score from kills/captures etc. Kind of interested in exactly how many points it is then. I'm going to assume PVP kills are way more points then PVE kills though and no idea on how many points capturing something gives.

for winning you get a static +3000 AP onto personal scores, +1500 AP for sticking with it and losing, so minimum you can get is 3000 or 1500 abyss points.

There is only the tiniest point difference based on pvp kills, balaur kills or killing the surkana's for the individual points. Dying makes you lose a significant amount of individual points though.

The main difference in individual points is through level. I went in at 46 onwards with the rest of my legion mostly at 49-50, and consistently got a few hundred lower points, and as i levelled the gap got less and less.

Won all but one runs so far out of 20ish, only loss against a group with a well skilled SM. fear is still OP. QQ
