    which choice should i pick for my graphics card?

    xfire to 5770s

    or get a 5870

    looking to have the best choice haha

    5870 I'd say. Multiple card support isn't always perfect and/or may not provide as much of a benefit for a given title. A stronger single card will tend to net you more consistent performance with less fuss.

    Depends on how long you're planning to keep your machine constant. xfire 5770s will cost less than a 5870 by a good margin and give almost as good if not just as good performance.. but when you want to upgrade it will be more annoying. If you plan to go eyefinity I'd recommend going with the most powerful single card before going crossfire.

    Personally I'd go with the 5870 if you can afford it. Then if you need to upgrade you can just switch it out for a 5970, or add another 5870
