You can go for Creepy as fuck and watch Silent Hill.
If you really want to get scared out of your mind watch "Jesus Camp" [2006]
Rec, but it's spanish
By the People: The Election of Barack Obama
If you like SciFi horror, Event Horizon and Pandorum are very good.
Pschcological thriller/horror - Last House on the left and I heard the Strangers was good but I never saw it.
Jeepers Creepers 1&2, anything in the Saw series too
I would avoid Unborn and Drag me to hell, both sucked
EDIT: In the mouth of Madness is decent, but it's an older film
Event Horizon sucked!
ur TH sucks!
Audition was probably the most fucked up mind trip I've ever seen. No jumpy moments, just genuine brick shitting.
Session 9 was decent imo but it's a 'love it or hate it' kind of deal for most people.
seconding .rec, one of the scarier horror movies i've seen.
The Poughkeepsie Tapes is about as scary as you can possibly get.
Echoing [Rec] and [Rec]^2. Also:
- The Thing
- American Werewolf in London
And check that other horror thread, too lazy to list again.
Leprechaun 4: In Space!
It makes more sense if you're wasted and/or half-awake.
Alright mother fucker. You send me a PM, here's what I've got.
Session 9 - Psychological movie about an asbestos removal team in a closed insane asylum.
The Changeling - Not the Jolie movie. The one with George C. Scott. A good old fashioned ghost story.
Suspiria - The things done with barbed wire in this movie are just frightening.
The Thing - A fantastic movie by John Carpenter.
Halloween - The original please. No Rob Zombie garbage.
Dead Birds - Pretty fucked up flick set in the civil war.
Outpost - Decent nazi zombie movie.
Dance of the Dead - Nerds save prom from zombies. Hilarious low budget movie. But extremely well done.
That's all I can think of right now.
Dance of the Dead. I have it on DVD, love the damn movie.
If you werent a penguin fan or a dude, I'd fuck you.
Oh yeah, I love that movie. Aside from Zombieland and the remake of Night it's probably my favorite zombie flick.
Silent Hill was awesome, silence you.
