NVM just killed the turtle... Death ftw
Took me 3-4 retries to get it down. Was worth it seeing it die though, the 40k CP was nice as well. But yeah, Death is purely RNG. Hasted Vanille makes it easier and if you can land Deshell on it with Fang (or someone else) it helps.
I just chose the right one and got some doll that sells for 35k... didn't bother with the enemy.
This chapter just keeps getting harder and harder, every single battle is like a boss fight it seems heh..
Is there any way of getting back to Pulse then? I really think I haven't spent enough time in the Pulse mainland with missions and stuff, and now it's coming back to bite me in the ass... the enemies that appeared in the last couple of areas before I reached Edenhall were seriously fucked up. Good thing they were mostly fighting each other, otherwise I don't even know how I would've gotten past them.
You will get a portal back to Gran Pulse eventually, but the end of the game isn't hard it's just challenging and I think grinding would take away from that. It's a fun experience dieing multiple times to mobs yelling at Vanille on your screen 'WHY ARE YOU SPAMMING FOG JUST FUCKING DEPROTECT THEM!' I think you'll do fine if you push on and just beat the game, also you earn lots of CP doing it naturally and learn a bit too even that close to the end of the game.
I zerged through the last two chapters and avoided any fight that I could possibly avoid cause random encounters were starting to get retardedly hard and annoying. Not to mention that the last area just dragged on and on, felt like that shit would never end.![]()
Final boss is not hard, I wiped multiple times to the shit on the way to the final boss but 1/1'd all the 'final boss'. I also skipped most of the mobs on the way there, that I could. Like I didn't engage them but I did collect every treasure I think, so I did take all paths I saw treasure in, but I'd decept and run by or just sneak by and keep running.
Juggernauts aren't hard, you need to debuff them and they will 'Steam Clean' and just stand there, then go RAV/RAV/RAV before the steam clean finished, break them and juggle all before they can remove the buffs. They are like paper when they are broken and have debuffs on. I only need to break them once usually. Every fight has a trick really towards the end, it's just a matter of figuring out the trick and using it in your strategy. That's what makes the end great, the enemies force you to find their weakness and exploit it, as opposed to mindlessly switching paradigms and brute forcing your way through. Now, you can do that if you just over level and grind, but I think it's more fun if you do it without grinding and just fight through the pain.
Yeah I've already set my default party to COM/SAB/SYN because everything needs buffs/debuffs now it seems...
Juggernauts aren't hard, they just take a few minutes to kill and they bore me heh...
I'm actually at Edenhall right now, fighting the shitload of enemies that are just THERE, blocking the path to the entrance of the building. (Cie'th and soldiers mostly it seems, and some of those huge bulbasaur type enemies but they are fighting the Cie'th so I take care of them easily)
EDIT: I'm also spottingin the distance... am not looking forward for a round 2. >.<Spoiler: show
