directors get actors they work with on other movies all the time.

I didn't get any sense of Matt Damon as Jason Borne from that trailer.
the only reason I thought it was him was because you called it the "borne insinuation" and I thought maybe thats how he acted before the whole experiment training thing and the movie was a prequal.

The only similaries is that he's a soldier that wants to do the right thing. Maybe if in that first scene of the trailer, he does some Bourne-esque moves... but he got captured rather easily (unless that was the plan!)

Take out Green zone and add a Bourne title then change his name to David Webb and you have yourself a prequel.

I bet you wouldn't be able to tell the difference with the Fat British guy government conspiracy and all.

They even use the same fonts as they have on the DVD box set on the trailer.

I got more of a Mark Whalberg/George Clooney "Three Kings" vibe from the trailer than Bourne. The only stylistic rip going on is the tiling of the interstitial text during the trailer.
