Final Fantasy XI Re-Recruitment Operation

Hi Everyone! Wow this is a pretty forum site, I can't believe I never stumbled across it sooner. OK, I've been trying to look around and find some people to re-join or if you'd like; join for the first time, the world of FFXI. I am trying to get a nice low-level community happening. I'll paste what I have written from another site:

FFXI is a brilliant game, and more so now than when it began. There have been numerous updates, changes and expansions to make it one of the most enjoyable MMORPG's in history to date.

Lately, perhaps through the disappointment of FFXIV, the feeling of 'too-much-of-the-same-thing' in WoW and Rift and other MMOs, or maybe just the feeling of nostalgia we have after playing FFXI in the past, I have noticed that many people wish they could relive, or have their first opportunity to visit the world of FFXI, but now feel that time is over.

I want to create a sort of small movement to boost the numbers a little, give FFXI that swan song it deserves. Because personally, I loved FFXI a whole lot and it'd be great to bring the towns to life again.

It has been going for a quite a while now and most players are high level players, playing in high level areas. It's not ideal for newcomers to arrive and have to face the beautiful world alone.

So I want to gather and see (through various forums and websites) how many people may be interested to revisit FFXI and start over. It would be a recruitment operation that would begin in March and carry on until July/ August. If this movement is successful, then that means through the course of these months, we can have a steady growth of new players and hopefully be able to play the game the way it was meant to be played; together.

I'm not a very good writer, nor have I ever attempted anything like this, but I believe through spreading the word to your MMO/RPG loving friends and seizing this one final chance to enjoy FFXI, we can make it an enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.

There we will decide a time to start (we'll give you some time to prepare your computers and accounts and what-not) before a formal beginning, and we will pick a server to start on.

spending any amount of time trying to convince your friends to play your favorite mmorpg when you both know the amount of time one must invest in such a game to really get anything out of it is a pretty rotten thing to do

actually it stoped dieing at 2009 and started dieing again as soon as Tanaka got back from FFXIV ¬.¬ (aka when voidwatch was being introduced)
