i want to bump that thread in general, but i'm not going to. i'm going to try and imagine this in a way that isn't 'i only give a shit about myself'.

the way those guys behaved in the video shouldn't be scolded for talking like that. some people outright don't give a shit about other people they don't know. add in the fact they're over there and those same guys killed their buddies and shit... doesn't exactly make you sad to see them die?

i don't entirely mind the video. it's pretty fucked up that when he killed the group of them all i could think about was him getting a killing spree

There were two reuters reporters, yes, but the poo-pooers in this argument have been saying that the military mistook a long-lens camera for an RPG and that the group only had defensive small arms at most and should not have been considered a credible threat target.

While nobody denies the ID of two of the dead as reporters, they all confirm that the group at large was heavily armed, including RPGs

As for the reporters dying, that sucks, but really like Domon said, the odds of getting shot at if you hang around a group of armed people when there are other armed people somewhere who will want to shoot at your group is pretty high.
