I recently restored my laptop to factory settings and had to re-install everything all over again. I have FFXI back up and running, however I cannot get my controller to work again in the game.

I checked all the other threads which stated to check the "Controller" box in FFXIconfig. And I did that. However, it still isn't working.

Also, whenever I pull up ffxiconfig.exe it has all squigglies and question marks and crap. I remember last time I did this, there was a way to make it English, but I have no idea what I did at the time.

So, I am sure this is something pretty easy to fix, it's just that I am not very good with these tech type of things.

Any help would be appreciated.
