CPU heatsink +Fan recommendation

My CPU fan has been getting progressively louder and louder recently. I removed it and cleaned it out, and that works for a little while, but it comes back, so I'm looking to replace it, and was wondering what would be a decent one to get.

I have a Socket 775 MB (I can't remember which model excatly but it's a asus), I don't do any OC, and my case is a midsize, my Nvidia 260 takes up most of the room, but as long as the heatsink isn't too much bigger than the cpu it should be fine to fit in.

Any recommendations?

For Socket 775 you really can't go wrong with Arctic Cooling's Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2.

You can get it at both Newegg and FrozenCPU - more expensive at the egg but you get free shipping so I think it balances out..

They're both 92mm models so they shouldn't have any trouble fitting into your average mid-tower case.. Zalman makes pretty solid units too (I have the 9900 and does a very good job cooling whether I'm OC'd or not).

I haven't done any recent tweaking of my machine, but I've starting to notice it's running hotter as of late. Lazily, I've been running the stock heatsink+fan on my AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual Core 5200 (Socket AM2), but as of recently I've started looking for a good replacement for it.

Been looking at:
* Zalman VF2000 LED CPU / VGA Hybrid Dual Purpose Cooler (VF2000 LED)

* Zalman CNPS9500A LED Ultra Quiet CPU Cooler

* Titan Fenrir Universal CPU Cooler (TTC-NK85TZ/V2)

My goal is to keep it cool and quiet.
Comments and recommendations greatly appreciated.

If you're looking for quiet then you'll probably want to jump up to the 120mm models.. In that case I'd go for the future proof & get a Noctua U12P. It's a bit pricey but it's one of the best coolers you can get and it'll still work cool & quiet should you upgrade to an AM3 CPU in the future.
