I thought the story of XIII was about equal with XII. XII did have some badass characters, but it also had Vaah... Gamplay mechanics, I swing more towards XIII although it is kinda easymode. Visually, you can not compare, overall I thought it was decent.

I didn't like XII as much as I liked XIII. Although I did not rank either one in comparison to VII, VIII, or X. Yeah I said it.

Do I think XIII is the greatest, absolutely not, but it was enjoyable and had a decent story.
