Post here if you're looking forward to leaving your Bard at lv75.
I'm looking forward to all the people who think they can become DD-only, let other people pick up the support role tasks, and it have no repercussions on their standing in their LS.
Come on guys, you're not getting March/Ballad III and you don't need gear or skill apparently. Just remember to have BLM sub high enough (15).
I guess I'm one of the few that really doesn't mind exping mage jobs lol. I'll just exp my "campaign only" jobs first to get them out of the way.
I have to admit that BRD is the last job on my priority list as the new songs won't really change how I play BRD for the next 3 months.
Eh. I want to 80 my MNK before my BLM, but I acknowledge that amongst a sea of SAMs and shit it's going to be harder to find a party than it probably will be to find a synced burn.
Although in the short run I'm more worried about overcrowding than I am about which job to level.
I was planning on levelling my BRD and my RDM first to 80 actually. I like BRD. Love pulling while meritting on birds. It's a challenge to keep the pulls coming at the right speed and keep other parties out of the camp.
Besides, logically, if everyone wants to level melee jobs to 80 first, who's going to be their bards and support mages? Me! You're all going to have to wait your turn while I get myself to 80 fast.
I like Brd and I'll lv it up to 80. So bad I don't get much chances to use it much lately.
I'm definitely leaving War and Pld at 75 because these jobs are boring as hell. I wanted to leave Mnk at 75 as well, but since I'm mostly playing Mnk in salvage now, it might be better to lv it, not sure what to do yet.
RDM was my first job to 75 back in 2005. Will be my first to level 80 as well
WHM will kindly DIAF.
Of course, if SE throws us a curveball today and announces that we can only level ONE job per character past the level cap, I'll ditch my bard. Then the decision would be between RDM and BLM.
I don't THINK they'll do that, but I'm positive they have some kind of nasty little surprise waiting for us in a few hours.
Why do you guys think 5 levels is going to matter for you "retiring" brd? You got at least 3 months before you can halfway plausibly say your brd is too low.
I hate this kind of crappy post. I'll be levelling WHM, BRD, BLM, SCH at least and probably all of my jobs. All of which are mages and support. I reckon RDM is the one going to get left behind if any...
The number of people in sitting in WG with no pearl on with their thumb up their butts will likely increase.
"You're fired!"
Nah, hopefully those in such positions will do the right thing.
I'll level Bard to 80 eventually, but Minne, Requiem, and Paeon certainly aren't making it a priority.
Haven't played the job in over 2 years, no intention of picking it back up, no inventory space for gear and no real need to use the job. There are certain other jobs which are distinctly not a priority to get to the new cap either - they'll get done at some point when I have time but I'm not going to chain myself to the PC to force myself to have everything at 80 within a week.
Looking forward to chugging to 80 with my BST most of all to be honest.
I'll be leaving my BRD job behind, just because I'll be replacing it with another support job. DNC or COR will be my choice, and I'm leaning on DNC because I actually -like- healing. (And it's less expensive compared to COR)
That being said, my mage job will be SCH. My tank job will maybe be PLD, but thinking of switching to RDM. My DD job will be DRG, while my fun and enjoyment job will be my PUP.
