Video card request #2

All right, so some bitch ass people came into my last thread, posted some very negative comments that were uncalled for and it was locked by the mod that sided with the retards that had thousands of posts. I didn't even say anything that would upset a normal person but damn, those people had some major mental problem or something. Who am i kidding, i'll just get another giant "Fuck You" after helping alot of people in this section myself.

I need a video card and a power supply that will work with World of Warcraft, my budget for both is $120.00. My processor is an Intel E5200 2core 2.5Ghz. I have 2GB of ram and an available PCI 2.0 slot. I'd like to be able to do raids while maintaining control of my character for the duration and having my spells go off instantly when i click them.

Can i get a post from someone that actually has knowledge that will help me?

You're not going to escape framerate problems with that CPU no matter how beefy the GPU you buy is. And $100 will buy you a decent GPU OR PSU, not both.

How was that negative in any sort of way?

I definately didn't call the guy an idiot but he was wrong about $120.00 not being enough money to get a decent video card and a decent power supply. This isn't Crysis, this is an old ass game that isn't extremely system demanding and it actually can run on older hardware decently. I'm not trying to run everything at maximum settings, i just want to raid without a 5 second delay between my actions. Why did you people even start acting like you have a hot dog in your asses anyway? I honestly don't understand why.

No, he wasn't. Anything under 100 bucks will not support 25 man raids without dropping to about 15 FPS with medium settings. Trust me on this - I have the 9800 GT and mine drops to about 10 FPS during trash pulls and the more graphically intensive boss fights (Gunship, Valithria, Lich King).

You're better off dropping $150 on a good card, and then getting whatever power supply you'll need to support it.
