Your favorite controller to play PC games and emulators.

In my ever continuing adventures.. There are some games/systems that just arent arcade stick friendly, so I figure ill get a gamepad to make them feel more comfortable.

Ive heard good things about the 360 controller, and logitech controllers are always a standard (any specific one?), are there any others that stick out?

The two above would be perfect if they had 6 face buttons close to each other instead of 4, anyone controllers like this?

A 360 controller with 2 more face buttons would be perfect.

It did require a little more setup on 64 bit Windows 7, but still works fine for me.

And yeah, my vote is for my PS3 controller, but I've never really used anything else. ;x

what i use, and have used for the past 4 years. I have to replace it every 5-6 months, but at 25 bucks each, who gives a shit? Plus you can get the warranty plan for like 6 bucks that lets you replace for free. Play ffxi, emulators, everything on it. Just plug and play, works fine.

Part of the problem (and I'm not sure if I'd have problems after this as I can't even get past this part) is my controller won't unsync from my PS3, so every time I try to sync it to my laptop with the software I end up turning my PS3 on/off/on/off repeatedly usually getting fed up and quitting.

I use a DS3. Only thing I don't like is the one USB cable I have is short and angled at the end that goes into the controller so the cord is in the way.
