[Bismark] Equilibrium [Event Linkshell] possibly looking for a few more members~

    Hello,

Our linkshell is originally from Seraph, earlier this year we got exiled to Bismarck. We are currently looking to recruit a few more people, provided we think they are a good fit for our linkshell. Our linkshell is event based in nature and the majority of events consist of salvage, limbus, dynamis and einherjar. We fill in the rest of our weekly schedules with events such as ks99, sea, scnm, vnm, ouryu, fomors, bahamut2 and ocassionally sky.

Equilibrium is a very old linkshell on seraph and has had the same leadership for years. The leader of the linkshell is Liltulip. The sackholders are myself(Zubuis) and Arcsol. We try to run the linkshell to be as fair as possible, and maintain a friendly environment that is laid back yet still focus's on accomplishing members wishes/goals within FF11. We have always strived to be different than other linkshells by focusing on what we feel is right rather than the status quo that alot of other linkshells seem to follow.

    Our forum is: http://equilibriumls.forumotion.net/

Post that explains our linkshell more in depth: http://equilibriumls.forumotion.net/...rium-t1218.htm

    What were looking for:

    - Essentially were looking for members that are team member orientated and mature/responsible in nature. We want people that will help achieve each others goals and continue to work on accomplishing each others goals.

    - Ideally it would be nice to find people that actually enjoy playing the game. I think this is one thing that people don't focus enough on. Typically people who enjoy playing FF will turn out to be the better members because they're logging on because they enjoy FF and enjoy helping others not because they feel like they have to or because they're bored.

    - People that are friendly to each other and are laid back but still try their best to play their jobs well and grow as a player. Getting items is great and we all want to progress our characters, but whats the point if you dont enjoy being in others presence's ?

    - We would like people to make the majority of the events. We dont expect people to have no lives or play the game every day but we do expect people to make a good amount of the events we do and communicate (on the sign ups on our forum) if they can/cant make it.

    - We expect that people can play their jobs well. We dont expect people to be perfect but we expect people to try and to put a good amount of effort forth when they play their jobs and take pride in their jobs/character.

    What were not looking for:

    - Obviously we dont want people that arent team member orientated. Myself and Liltulip have run the linkshell for years and we continue to show up to things after we completed our goals long ago. So if you are the type of person who quits showing up after getting what you wanted, or doesnt want to help others - you will rub us the wrong way and it wont work out for you. If you are this type of person, dont even bother applying please.

    - We dont want people that are focused on camping hnms. We do hnms from time to time but its not a priority for us. If you like camping hnms and thats what you enjoy, do not bother applying to this linkshell. You will not be happy here.

    Our schedule:

Our schedule generally consists of events 7-11pm EST during the weekdays. We have Limbus/Einhejar on mondays at 7pm/9pm and thursdays 8pm/10pm EST respectively and Dynamis on wednedays 8pm / sundays at 2pm EST. Friday is typically a day off. There is an event scheduled for Tuesday at 8pm EST and often we have an event on Saturday at 8pm but sometimes saturday is deemed to be a free day.

    Events:

I will explain einherjar, salvage, dynamis a bit further since they consist of the bulk of what we do and our accomplishments in these areas.

    Salvage:

Salvage is a big part of our schedule. We moved away from the daily drama of land hnms around 2 years ago when we became successful at salvage. We are proud of our efforts in this event. Our linkshell at the time of this post has #352 completed salvage pieces. All of these pieces were legit and we had 0 people banned from the salvage duping excursion.

In 2009, we completed around #160 salvage pieces.

The way we do salvage is different than most linkshells. We encourage people to participate and involve themselves in it. We dont use static groups within the linkshell. We find room for anybody that wishes to do it, so that people arent left out. Generally 3+ runs are set up on a schedule per week, and people just respond on the forum if they are interested at going at whatever time is listed. If theres more than 12 interested we will make multiple groups. The runs typically run around 8pm EST on Friday and Sunday then we usually go a couple times in the week later at night (11pm ish).

    Dynamis:

Dynamis is another big part of our schedule. Our runs consist primarly of northland runs and cop runs (including tavnazia). We dont do alot of city runs but we usually do 1-2 a month typically.

The way we distribute dynamis currency is different than most linkshells as well. We distribute the currency based on peoples attendance during the month. We try to be as fair as possible, and we want people to be rewarded with what they put in rather than putting all the currency into a select few's relics.

In 2009, we got about 1110 AF in 95 runs - averaging 11.7 AF/Run with 18-24 people, mostly in non-city dynamis runs. We are pretty proficient in this area, there are not huge line ups on gear.

    Einherjar:

Our linkshell in total has killed Odin 28 times. We have about a 95% clear rate over the last 2 years or so. If your interested in phantasmal body or hadean body, we get an abundance of them

The linkshell also does limbus, sea, sky, ouryu, bahamut, vnm, fomors, ks99 and scnm as already mentioned above.

Overall were always looking to give people a chance to see how well they fit into our linkshell. Not everyone fits into Equilibrium well, but we're usually willing to give people a chance to see if they do (provided people think the application is ok). We welcome veteran players and newer players alike. In this post I tried to be discrete about what were looking/not looking combined with "Things you need to know about Equilibrium" so that hopefully people can kinda get a good idea of what our linkshell is about.

One note about Bahamut2, we generally sell the materials from them and distribute the gil out based upon Bahamut and Ouryu attendance. The linkshell has no real bank, everything is distributed among peoples attendance.

I could go on forever and go in more depth but I feel like the thread is already too long. If anything I said here, interests anyone feel free to apply or you can send myself a PM on this site or on the EQ site. You can also PM liltulip on the EQ site if you have any questions for her.

    Thank you~

    Zubuis

Just bumping b/c we recently changed our schedule (which i edited) resulting in doing limbus/einherjar on Mondays/Thursdays. Saturday now has an optional event. Main reason for this is because fridays/saturdays tend to be poor attendance days (compared to weekday) for the linkshell and allows people to do RL stuff on weekends.

We have gotten alot of applications recently who seem to good members. Our numbers are pretty good at the moment but people are always free to apply if they like what were trying to accomplish and think they would be a great fit for our linkshell.

    /bump

We are currently looking for BRD's and COR's. Having flexible jobs helps though. Even if you dont have these jobs you can still apply and if we think you will fit into our linkshell, we will give you a trial. If you have any questions you can PM me on this board or on the EQ board.

Title was changed when Seraph got exiled into Bismarck, earlier this year.

/bumping for anyone who might think they are a good fit

LS schedule is a bit different than what is posted as we try to fit in abyssea as well. Schedule will probably be changed a bit more pending next update as some of the older content in the game becomes not as beneficial to the linkshell as a whole.

can pm me if you have questions as well.

Awesome shell. Zub and Lil are two of the best leaders I've encountered.
