For me, dunno yet still, will depend on whether or not your race/tribe determines locations as well.

I'm feeling Gridania just because it has that Windurst vibe to it and I started there in XI although I'm interested in seeing how Ul'dah shapes up. Definitely not LL.

No beta testers want to play in limsa because of being stuck there for months already, and nobody in their right minds wants to play in bastok v2.

Hopefully there's a jeuno v2 to run to asap.

Also hopefully, there are gigas to play with down stairs just to bring back the memories. :D

I like Limsa but the artworks I saw of that wood city were awesome so I'm going there, whichever it is. (Gridania I think)

I didn't choose Bastok in FFXI because the MMO's graphics already looked like trash and didn't need help from Bastok's plain landscape.

I want to see what XIV's engine will do with Ul'dah's surrounding areas though.

Before all the alpha info started rolling in I was leaning towards starting in Limsa, but now I'd like to see something new when I start. Kinda hope not everyone takes the same stance or Limsa might be a bit underpopulated.

I haven't played Alpha so I am not tired of Limsa yet. At the same time, I want to pick elvaan so their home town looks good as well.

No clue. Not really liking the alpha starting city, way too many bridges and different levels of bridges, so confusing! Either Gridania or Ul'dah with my miqo'te :3
