XI Wiki
I searched around and it seems that a couple of people in this part of the forums have general video game blogs. Of course, there have been FFXI and WoW blogs up forever but I'm interested in general ones. Even if you don't talk about all aspects of video games, blogs about certain games you are dedicated to are fine also, as long as they aren't MMO blogs.
Well I guess some can be posted here, just no FFXI and WoW since those have their own subforum.
I wanted to make this thread to help out with, and ask about blogs and ideas. Things like recording hardware, html tips, or even just shoutouts for your or your favorite blogs!
If anyone wants I can try to post some resources and stuff like that. I can also make a list of you guys' blogs too, as I'm always looking for reading material at work :D

I do have one question for those who record their own gameplay. I just got a brand new Hauppauge HD PVR and it works swimmingly for recording. What I'm looking for is the best way(and good programs) to encode it in order to upload them online(say, Youtube). The only thing I've read so far was using the codec H264 on Adobe Media Encorder; which supposedly has decent upload speeds.
If anyone knows any efficient ways to turn my M2TS files into youtube/etc videos I'd be happy to hear it !

Virtualdub with the right codecs, there are a billion tutorials on google and I'm sure you'll find easily.

Right now I'm making them in mp4 and tossing them right on youtube. Seems to upload clearly and plays well on my better computer lol.

Well, here's mine. I haven't updated it in literally months. Now that I'm unemployed, I might do something constructive with my time and do it again.

It's called Checkpoint Loaded, and has stuff on games and movies. Entertainment in general. I tried to be pretty fair whilst reviewing stuff. If you do happening to check it out, let me know what you think. I'm not the best writer out there, and probably use way too many commas and other bad habits, but it looks good to me.
