Logitech G510 released, finally back to 18 G keys

I was minding my own business lurking around on newegg and found that Logitech released a new model of their G keyboards and for this first time since the G15 V1 it finally has 18 keys again.

Has anyone got one of these yet? I've been following the G keyboards since the LCD broke on my G15v1 but never wanted to upgrade since I would lose my precious 18 keys but it looks like the time is nigh.

That's almost my dilemma now too except mine is whether to buy it now or wait for it to get on the Logitech retail partner site and get it at a discount.

I can't stand the other G keyboard models since 18 keys is PERFECT for XI, I refuse to compromise. lol

G510 > G19
it has the G Keys but no full blown LCD so you cant play videos on it (lol)

Wish they'd make a cheaper version without the LCD; it's kinda useless unless you're still running with one monitor. Don't remember the last time I looked down at it on my G15.

I only use one monitor... and I don't have a fancy keyboard either. Guess i'm not a nerd like people claim me to be

Just saw this while I was browsing Logitech's site too! It wasn't filtered as a gaming keyboards though.

The built-in TS/Vent, mp3 player support has me by the balls. I have an old blue G15 and I'd not give it up for anything. Nice to see they're back up to 18 keys though! And at a fair price point imo.

I been holding onto an old G15v1 for the 18 keys too. Was going to buy a G11 before they got phased out in case this ever broke because I can't live without it. Perfect amount of keys for XI. Now I know exactly what I want for Christmas

What are you talking about Wolf? There are no USB ports in the G510.

Stupid question but, does the g15binder plugin work with this? I ask because it also worked with the g11, but it supposedly doesn't work with the newer ones. Thinking that since this is pretty much the same layout as g11 and g15v1, it might work? idk. If it does I want to buy it, cause my g11 is dying :/

I think the conflicts were because mapping on the binder was off without matching keys, but I can't confirm it works.

Yeah, that's why I thought that it might work, but I don't want to spend $100 just to try Figured I'd see if anyone might know before I throw down that much money.

No idea but if it uses the same profiler as the rest of the G line keyboards I'd imagine it would be identical in compatibility to the OG G15.

I was wondering the same. Been anticipating Razer's keyboard for a bit. I'm quite happy with my G15 but I'm ready for another keyboard.

Well, I just got it, and it doesn't seem to work. Woo waste of $100. At least it's a nice keyboard, and my g11 is pretty much dead, but not really usable with 11, oh well.
