    General lag question.

    Bought 14 yesterday, installed, lags pretty bad always.

    Tried to tone down graphics to even the worst possible, lag remains the same. I've read various conflicting opinions in random threads;

    An update caused it yesterday and some people(?) are experiencing lag? (Asked friends, neither of them are have the same problem.)
    My Laptop is not good enough?(I know my laptop is somewhat outdated now.)

    So on that, below are my laptops specs:

    Intel® Core (TM2) Duo CPU T5800 @2.00GHz 2.00 GHz
    RAM: 3.00GB
    32bit operating system.

    Card: Nvidia Geforce 9500M GS 512MB

    Appreciate any insight, hoping i don't need to buy a new system to make this game run smooth, but i'd just like to know if i do or if this isn't my systems problem.

    Thank you

    FFXIV is extremly CPU based, even if you have the best graphic card ever he will lag if you dont have a minimum of a Quad Core CPU,

    Thats why i sold my Core 2 Duo for a Quad Core now, its work pretty better on FPS average

    On this exemple GPU Overclock dont add any more score on the benchmark, CPU Overclock made an Huge difference, and coming from 2 Core to 3 Core made an other Huge gain

    3009 would be great... Max i can get on benchmark is 350... surely something is wrong here, i know my laptop isn't up to date but it's not -that- bad, right?

    As stated above in short, the lag is exactly the same no matter what settings, Lowest on everything, no shadows etc. is exactly the same as highest on everything.

    if your only getting a 350 you arent close to being able to run the game

    Your graphics card is a mobile 9 series. that's the equivalent of a Geforce 7 series in a desktop.

    MINIMUM requirements is a 9 series desktop.
