Level 5 revealing 4 new unannounced games at 'Vision' event later this month

Level-5 plans to reveal four unannounced games at its annual
"Vision" event on October 19. The Japanese publisher teased as
much on its official Vision 2010 website (pictured), which features
four question-marked spots. Could one (or more) of these mystery
projects be related to the " truly interesting things" the publisher is
working on with Capcom? Oh the suspense!

Tempering the teaser, the site also confirms a number of Level-5
games that will definitely be showcased -- from Ni no Kuni on both
PS3 and DS to Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle for 3DS.

In addition to the London Life RPG inside Professor Layton and the Devil's Flute, Level-5 announced another collaboration with Brownie Brown, the Sword of Mana developer and Mother 3 co-creator: Fantasy Life, a town simulation in the vein of Animal Crossing.

Fantasy Life occurs in the world of Fantazeal, which shows prophesied signs of impending destruction after a shadow passes over the moon. If this were a normal RPG, you'd portray some kind of teenaged hero fighting to save the world from this catastrophe, but in this game, it basically doesn't seem to matter: you choose a job and undertake daily "Life Quests" related to that job, to improve your wealth and happiness levels. The game includes local and online wireless functionality, allowing others to visit your town.

Aside from Level-5 and Brownie Brown, Fantasy Life features more big names. Nobuo Uematsu is composing an opening theme, as well as ending themes for the ending of each job's "life," and character design is being done by Hideo Minaba, a Final Fantasy series alum who most recently designed the characters in Little King's Story.

edit edit: oh yeah, according ot Wiki beating Professor Layton and the Devil's Flute (Specter's Flute) unlocks an RPG called London Life and it supposedly has 100 hours of content, and is meant to serve as a preview of Fantasy Life

Level-5 has made somewhat of a stealth update to its Level-5
Vision 2010 official site, swapping out Inazuma Eleven Strikers for
Time Travelers. Why Inazuma Eleven Strikers was removed is
unclear, but the appearance of Time Travelers means we could be
getting our first look at the Jiro Ishii project since its April
announcement.

As present, the Level-5 Vision press conference lineup has the
following seven games confirmed for showing: Ni no Kuni (PS3), Ni no
Kuni (DS), Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask (3DS), Fantasy
Life (DS), Little Battler eXperience (PSP/Mobile), Mystery Room
(DS) and Time Travelers (platform TBA). Level-5 will also show its
Roid mobile portal in some capacity.

The official site also promises four new title announcements. It's
possible that at least one of these will be Inazuma Eleven 3: The
Ogre, which has appeared in retail listings but has yet to be
formally announced by Level-5.

The 2010 installment of the Level-5 Vision press conference will be
held on the evening of the 19th in Shinagawa. Keep up with all
