Ok, so my laptop is out for warranty and I'm borrowing my cousin's. I'm getting the error in the title when attempting to play a youtube video. I've downloaded the latest adobe flash, so I don't know what the problem is.

The world is ending. Kill yourself.
In all seriousness, you can try completely uninstalling it via Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel, then re-downloading and re-installing. If that doesn't work, Google about replacing corrupt Firefox profiles, and try that.
Before replacing your profile, though, back up all your bookmarks.

Uninstall/reinstall didn't work. Not sure if it's the firefox profile, because it's not working in IE, either.
Probably not, then. For Firefox anyway, try this next: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/...in+has+crashed
EDIT: Also, are you only seeing "The Adobe Flash plugin has crashed", or are there any other messages/pop-ups anywhere? Check in both browsers.
"The Adobe Flash plugin has crashed"
but i restarted and it works now
