Been meaning to do this for awhile. We got a thread to bitch about what's bad going on in our lives, we should have a thread to talk about the good shit that is going on in our lives. Big or small, what's going well bg?

For me:

Taking daughter to Disnelyand for her bday next month and managed to win a $100 gift card to the Disney Store (either gonna use it for the tickets if I can, if not gonna let her have a field day for presents when we get to the huge one in Downtown Disney.)

I am able to now solely breastfeed my newborn instead of having to supplement with formula.

Husband was able to grab an extra week of paternity leave with pay. Thank. God.

Last week I won a new photo backpack from one of the photography blogs I read. Free $400 Mindshift photo backpack came in the mail 2 days later. Entered and found out I won within 15 minutes. This was a while ago but I won a free pair of Turtle Beach headphones from one of those Amazon sweepstakes they have on facebook. I was the correct number person who sent in an email.

My friend and I call that OCS (On the Clock Shit). When I worked at Albertsons, I'd stand in front of the clock for 10 minutes waiting to clock in if I got there early. Then the first thing I'd do EVERY shift is go take a shit on the clock. Then sit on the toilet and listen to 2-3 songs on my CD player (lol yea I didn't have an mp3 player back then, 2005-2006ish) then come out 15 minutes after my shift started and start work

I'm trying to determine who was the best at fucking the clock. It's between me and this one guy named Terry. He used to go in his car and straight up go to sleep. Come in looking like he just woke up and when they asked him where he's been, he'd say he was outside getting carts.

Me, on the other hand, never went that far while I was supposed to be working, but on lunch break, I'd pretend to clock out and stay on the clock for lunch. Then when the managers shift changed, I'd say I hadn't been on break yet and then take another (since if breaks didn't show up on my time card, I'd get in trouble)

Just started my new job today. Although it's a bit more managerial than they led on (I was thinking more of a team lead, but I'm pretty much a straight up manager), I'm still pretty excited about it. And great benefits!
