    Playstation 3 Data Ulitity

    Does this shit work? I mean really, I've spent about 7 hrs trying to work this shit and I keep getting a error at 71%

    I've done everything I can think of

    • Updated both firmwares
    • Used a different Ethernet cord
    • deleted all corrupted data
    • Restored the file system on BOTH machines


    Any reason for this?

    Also deactivated the machine moving the data and activated the machine the data is going to

    You backed up HDD for copy to new one? If so, when I did that I got some b.s. too. I suggest, if this is what you're doing, to just usb the saves that you can and recover the PSN ID on new HDD. If your putting on a different PS3 all together there may be more stuff not compatible. The biggest problem is that some asshole (Ubisoft) companies don't let you copy game saves.

    Didn't change hdds just trying to switch from my phat 80gb to my slim 120gb
