I got a deal on my LG lcd, I inadvertently walked into an employee celebration day. 20% off a 40" LG that was already on a deal, a stand, a year of free HD, and a roast beef and caesar from canyon creek catering for like $900.

That fucker goes up to 1080p.

It is true though that you can get a noname of similar size for like $600 retail, but I have heard bad things about their lifespan, and it's probably 720p

I usually try to stick to just WD blacks, but Samsung isn't too bad, and I couldn't pass up the price, and it's mostly going to be used for storage anyway.
