Checking e-mail on PS3

So yeah. Holed up in a hotel for about 6 days while some dudes work on my floors..(ripping carpet up/floorboards, the whole 9 yards) and the only internets i have is via shitty wireless on a ps3. wanted to check the hotmail, though.. but no luck.. any of you know how?

yeah, tried mobile.hotmail.com, but it'd keep saying 'going from encrypted to unencrypted, would you like too -- yes/no?' and i'd pick yes, but then it'd just keep refreshing right there and not let me past.
