Portable Media Players

So what are some great media players on the market now?

besides the obvious ipods and such, I've owned a Archos, I loved the amount of supported formats and the wide screen, but I've HATED support for the machine that and Full touch screen I don't like. I recently got the money I paid for my archos back when the touch screen fucked up, so i'm looking to buy something to replace it, I'm thinking of getting another one, I saw one on Amazon for $250 and it's a new version of the one I had with Android software and it's a 500gb, Im itching to get that version instead, Any suggestions?

It depends on how much storage you need etc. I personally have gotten rid of media players and just stream all my music from my home computer. If you have an android or iphone, it has an app that you can do it with. It also comes in handy when on a computer at work, or laptop, cause you can just open your web interface and have access to all your music.

Its fairly easy to get setup, and if you need any help or troubleshooting, I can help you out. Honestly, there's no need for a portable player anymore. Also, you can stream all you music regardless of format, as it transcodes your formats for you, (flac, ogg, etc).

While you won't find it in america, this is probably the only thing I would buy right now. If you try hard enough, you can find one online.
