    It's Time for a Death Battlllllllllllllllle!

    We need a Death Battle thread. I can't be the only dork on BG who's a fan lol.

    The Goku vs Saitama battle was fantastic. Loved the animation. Although I did find it kind of "anti-Goku" of him realizing he needed to end the fight immediately. But I think they did an excellent job explaining the logic afterwards.

    I've watched several Death Battles and am always impressed by the quality. Hulk vs. Godzilla might be my favorite, my least favorite being Dio vs. Alucard. They establish "there's basically only one way to ever really kill Alucard and he has to let you do it." And then Alucard LETS DIO DO IT. Felt like bullshit to me.

    I like their series even if they are pretty inconsistent. They do know which fights to give more effort towards.

    It's not really out of character for Goku to end a fight quickly if he has an actual reason to do so. He was shitting his pants screaming at Gohan to kill Cell.

    Also him and Frieza making that last push to knock out Jiren in the tournament of power.

    Bowser v Dr robotic was a banger. The goku v Saitama one was good, but the 3rd goku v superman is a hurdle that it didn't clear for me
