Walgreens started producing their own line of beer, at 50c a can. I picked up a 6 pack today and it ended up being on sale for 2.50$ + tax.

This stuff tastes just like any other cheap american beer - PBR/Bud Light/Miller Light/Natty/Beast etc. etc. etc.

I feel like Pandora's box has been open, and I couldn't be more excited.

While I'm sure this is some god awful shit I'm inclined to indulge due to the fact that that's a cheap bargain to get hammered.

Oh yeah. It's pretty bad but it's no worse than all the other cheap stuff. But this price point is low enough that my beer snobbery goes right out the window.

Is it as good as Trader Joe's Simpler Times? (cause that stuff is actually tasty and full-flavored and high alcohol - 6.2 ABV - 50 cents a can)

I've read the company who does the walgreens beer also does one for trader joe's. I'm pretty sure that they also make the Simpler Times. So it probably tastes similar. Sadly the abv is only 4.5
