So I'm trying to do some incredibly fucking basic video editing and having a hell of a time with it, looking for someone who has used Premiere CS4 to help me out a bit...
I have a 21:39 720p game capture video with h.264 encoding, frame rate is 59fps. All I'm trying to do is to clip out a 1-minute-ish part in the middle to make a stand-alone video clip out of that retains the same quality. Really, really, basic shit.
The actual cutting/pasting into a new sequence part I have figured out, but my issue is that every time I try to open my source clip into a new sequence, for some reason the time stamp of the video shows as being twice as long as it is, and it plays at half speed. I cannot for my fucking life get this thing to import in a manner where it just plays at normal speed, regardless of which sequence presets I tool with.
Any help would be appreciated, I've spent nearly an entire goddamned day just trying to get a short clip out of this freaking video and never imagined it'd be so fucking difficult for me, lol...
