Where is the Iron!?

Specifically wondering if you guys know where there is a good spot to mine iron in Stonefield? I've only found isolated spots that require a lot of running to get to.

Took me quite a while to get through the iron stage. Most other stages I'm pretty set on ore until the very end, iron was a struggle the whole way. I mined in the Scarlet Gorge zone, mostly because they have some nodes without any mobs near them so I'd run up and down (the north wall at the highest point just above the Guardian main outpost) there and then alt-tab for a bit and rinse and repeat.

Yea Iron is definitely the most painful ones, I have over 150 cobalt at 39 yet I had trouble getting 50 iron in all of the time I was in Scarlet Gorge

Carmintium's been a pain, too. Though it may be more of a result of damn near everyone needing it to both skill and do high end dailies.

Caramintium is fucking everywhere in Shimmer sands and north east iron peak

I'm at 272 now, Orichalum is a fucking pain in the nut sack.

For the people who have gotten some of the gathering professions up there, are you guys making much money off of them? I was planning on spending all this plat I've gotten on an epic mount as soon as I got 50 and then get mining/foraging to max after that just for easy money.

I'm at 272 now, Orichalum is a fucking pain in the nut sack.

I spent something like 3 hours running around Shimmersands looking for it one night. Only got 8 ore to show for it. It's only everywhere if the whole damn server isn't looking for it. :/

My shard is stupidly small. So no, I'm not making money off of it, and since me and maybe one other person on the entire shard has Mining and Armorsmith that high, there's no way we can really buy materials, even for the 280+ stuff.


I'm at 290 now, so the home stretch involves hours of farming Orichalum and enduring planar dust (CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHERE TO GET AN ABUNDANCE OF THIS BECAUSE RIFTING FOR HOURS SUCKS)
