I was only online late in the evening yesterday but it probably has to do with the search failing and AH not working. Happened last night, they apparently did a quick fix on it but it still wasn't working for about an hour after that. Works now but I guess it warrants a 5 hour maintenance?

Oh goody I was right. Anytime /search or the AH goes down the maintenance is usually long. One in the COP era was along the lines of 10 hours. Good times.

Something unexpected due to the AH merge I presume, as prior failures on AH/Search in the past were fixed without taking the game down from what I recall.

Anyone know what happens if your inside abyssea when the servers go down? I had 2700 minutes left when I went to bed and was hoping to continue in there when I got home from work. When I login will all that still be intact with me still inside?

lol. You should still be inside with visitant status and whatever time ticked off like it would have anyway if the servers were up and you were afk there. Would suck if they actually removed you from abyssea/removed your visitant status and you got capped at 120.
