BG Fashion (Excluding Wop's master race): What is your favorite brand of Jeans?

Lookin to buy a couple pairs in several different colors, anyone have a preference that isnt $250 a pair?

Most of the jeans I own come from the Bullhead brand which are resilient and comfortable as fuck without being to expensive. However, I'd like to switch it up now and then because different brands have different styles etc.

Also typically do not like baggy as fuck jeans. I like the straight leg/ not so skinny skinny jeans variety.

Diesel, but they can be $150-$200.
Express, usually about $70, can usually get them on sale for less than $50
Lucky, I hate Lucky. And BKE. Anyone that wears either brand should shoot themselves now.

Diesel, se7en. These are pretty much the only jeans I've worn. Comfortable and they last forever.

Apparently my dad used to wear nothing but True Religion's when he was in his 20s. Either he was rich as fuck when he was younger, or they just got really fucking expensive for no reason in the last few years.

Lucky are great, I don't know what Tyche is smoking. I wouldn't buy them full price though. outlet malls or other places that sell designer clothes at a fraction of the price are the way to go, like the Nordstrom Rack or Saks Fifth Off. other designer jeans I like are Se7en (that's two votes for Se7en now!), Guess, and Hugo Boss.

Abercrombie also makes good jeans but they're moderately pricey and half of their stock is that "worn-in" crap. they do sell normal jeans too, though. I only own one pair that I found half-off for $45 but they are fantastic.

Express Jeans... ehhh if they're your style, go for it. I think they're too feminine (and I'm gay). but maybe I just haven't tried on the right pair.

Gap is good for cheap jeans but you will have to try on twenty pairs. You can try on a couple different pairs in the same style, same size, and they will look different. Gap is not consistent at all.

Places like TJ Maxx and Marshall's are also good for cheap jeans but again, you will be trying on ten pairs for every one you like, if you're lucky.

    I'll solve this.

Go for Nudie Jeans, hover around $100-$200, I got mine for $50 and they're great. Good cotton, great washes and very comfortable. The seaming is impeccable.

Also, Zara makes decent jeans for their pricing. Check them out at zara.com

Going with Diesel as well. Great looking and durable. Will wear Levi's for doing shit around the house though.

Mavi makes great jeans for girls and they actually have a men's line. I had a pair a few years ago and they were one of my favorites. Also, keep an eye out for a pair of stretch-denim jeans. Once you feel the way it stretches over your knee when you move or crouch, you'll wonder why every pair isn't made this way

    Mavi men's:

    Stretch denim:
couldn't find a good pic, but here's a close-up of the material, yiu'll see that it's different than your basic sturdy denim material, spoiler'd for not-that-interesting

If you're ever in Toronto, go to a place called Over the Rainbow, they're awesome and you can get really nice stuff for under $110 (edit: it seems they're p. overpriced now, haven't been there in 6 years)

Lastly, check out skate stores, Volcom, Etnies, a few others make some really sturdy jeans with some nice cuts

    Etnies:

oh, and if you can find them on sale: 55DSL 55DSL 55DSL, so good

I used to have a pair, forgot the brand.. 969? those were great too. My current fave is my skinny jeans, just have the one pair and they're Levi's lol (wut)

I used to love 7 For All Mankind because they are so soft and comfortable... but that comfort comes at a(nother) price, they don't last long at all. I always got wear/tear/holes in the crotch/ass seams in no time.

If I am feeling really saucy, I'll get a pair of (usually black) Nudies. http://www.revolveclothing.com/Displ...udie+Jeans&d=b

    Normally, I'll get some Levis.

Their retail operation is pretty insane right now, they have a store in almost every mall from what I've seen or at the very least a store in market.

Honestly, Levi's 511s and 501s (esp. shrink to fit) are not bad looking and will run you like $35.

I'll second all those skate jean companies for rough and tough shit. I used to rock all their gear when I worked at a skate shop and you can beat the piss out of it with no real impact.

I had this problem with 7's for a long time as well. Consider my first post revised to say only Diesel's last forever.

I've worn men's Mavi before and they are a nice inbetween for people who don't have 200 bucks to blow on a pair of Diesel's but don't want to hate life with super cheap jeans.

I never liked the Levi's fit, always either rode too high in the waist or pinched in the thighs.

    Another thing to note:

Girls notice if you wear nice things. They WILL notice you wearing some sweet ass jeans.

Don't hate on Lucky's by the way, they have some decent cuts (Besides the loose, ghetto cuts that the bargain places carry)

Here's my beef with Lucky. They used to be comfortable as fuck. I'm talking "silk on your nuts if you go commando" soft. That was back in High School about 12 years ago. Sometime between then and now, the denim boom happened. The price of Luckys skyrocketed and the quality of material went down. Why? Fuck if I know. For that reason, fuck you Lucky.

Express jeans can be feminine, depends on the style. Roccos typically aren't feminine. I have a couple pair of those.

Diesels are sweet, but if you buy them for attention around here, you're wasting your time. If it's not AE, Abercrombie, or Hollister, most girls here don't recognize the brand. Other than the few absurdly expensive jeans that The Buckle sells, we have no quality retailers around here. I think the closest Diesel is in Nashville about 2 hours away. I have a Diesel belt ($140 belt) and some girl from class asked where I got it, when I told her Diesel she asked what that was....If they were Dickies over-alls, I'm sure she'd have known. Love west kentucky.

Might be a part of Wop's master race, but I've been wearing assorted Raw Denim brands for the last few years. Right now I'm wearing a pair of Flat Head F1001, and just retired my APC New standards. They come in just about every cut you can imagine and are really high quality.

I love American Eagle low rise boot cut jeans. I've got muscly upper legs from karate so a lot of jeans are really tight in the leg area, but AE fits me perfectly. Either their bronze washed or bleach washed ones that are semi-destroyed I'll buy, plus they're only 55 bucks.

If you're looking to go moderately expensive, Allsaints has some really nice men's jeans. They tend towards pretty snug fits, but they have a few that won't force your junk up inside you. You're looking at around $100 a pair, though.

On the cheap, I think Flypaper's cuts are nice, and you can find them at Kohls or Burlington for $35-40.

My reaction to high priced jeans.

I buy the cheapest, shittiest jeans. Because im a cheap fuck with no taste.

But i hear true religion jeans are good. I got a nice-ish pair of ben sherman's as a gift that fit great and are very comfy. Hate the button fly though.
