BG Crafting, I need help finding a button/fastener

So I have a jacket in which the male part of the fastener (shown here) came out when I was unsnapping it. From the looks of it, the fastener broke where the male part and the back of the male part connect to hold it to the fabric. I need a replacement. I've been to three craft stores and none of them have anything remotely close. I don't even know what the technical name for this style of button is to begin looking online. I pictured it beside my finger to give some sort of scale. Anyone know any place online I can find this? The color is sort of an aged bronze.

And before it comes up, I tried to return it but they no longer carry this jacket and I don't want a different one. I like this one.

I would look up a local sewing and alterations business to help with that.

what you are looking for is called a snap fastener or a press button or push button. to attach them to the clothing you use a tool that looks kinda like a hole punch or pliers, i used to have one that looked like a clamp mixed with wine bottle opener. i'd suggest a jo ann fabrics if you have one in your area, but for a heavier version of it like you would use on a coat, try amazon.

my local dry cleaners/alterations shop replaced few buttons like that on my snow jacket a few years ago. They charged me $10.

Yes, its a snap. I needed something similar for a halloween costume and bought at JoAnns. You will need to look online, or do as Suvhater suggested because JoAnns has horrible snap selection.

I remember when Joanns was a real fabric store for people actually sewing, now it has degenerated into a shop for quilters and other hobby crafters, papercraft and jewelry. They used to sort the fabric section by fabric type and now they sort by purpose....
