Definitely, the whole "war on terror" thing was a mess from the start. And if you ask me Iran should have been the prime target, and perhaps Saudi-Arabia. Iran shows itself again and again constantly to be the driving force behind the scenes. Yet no politicians have the balls to pursue a declaration of war with Iran. And part of that is an acknowledgement that the public is fed up with wars. Unfortunately you can't really blame people for not being able to support yet another war, considering how ill considered and ham-fisted the last were fought. Iran should have been a proper, fast and efficient war from the start. But instead political posing sunk us into a decade and trillions of dollars of playing soft-core diplomats.

I love it! Libertarian advocating a "proper, fast and efficient war".

I'm not as familiar with Saudi Arabia as I am with Iran, but I get the sense they are the a big part of the funding machine driving it. Where Iran is the ideological and cultural source. Were you in the military or do you just like having a military avatar?
