Friend of mine got a virus when he downloaded/attempted to install. Just throwing that out there as a warning to be careful.

In this thread... people execute zip archives and dat files.

For fun, I download the archive and scanned it on several different OSes with separate anti-virus and malware scanners. There weren't even any false alarms, not to mention genuine threats.

Your friend probably clicked one of the shiny buttons on the download host's page and tried to install something else.
