Watsuki Nobuhiro’s popular manga / animation series titled “Rurouni Kenshin” will return as a fighting game for Sony PSP in celebration of the animation’s 15 year anniversary.

The game “Rurouni Kenshin – Meiji Kenkaku Roman Tan – Saisen” will be released by Bandai Namco Games Inc. sometime in the Spring of 2011 in Japan. Many familiar characters will be in the game like Himura Kenshin, Sagara Sanosuke, Saito Hajime, Shinomori Aoshi and more. The animation “Rurouni Kenshin” is also scheduled to stream on the web via Jump Square, more details about this will be revealed at a later date through Jump Square.

Rurouni Kenshin needs a relaunched abridged anime that follows the manga. Leaving Enishi out of the series and throwing him into that atrocious OVA was a tragedy.

Not sure about the red and grey creature, but the gauntlet dude is one of the guys that attacks Kenshin at the beginning of the final arc. The guy left of the red and grey thing is part of Shishio's group I believe. He appears pretty early on in the manga/anime. Not sure which blue robed guy you're talking about. If you mean the kid, he's part of Shishio's group as well. He's the guy that put up a good fight against Kenshin.

Gauntlet dude is Banjin. One of Enishi's bunch of Merry Men. Got beat up by Sanosuke.
Red and grey creature is Iwanbo v2 (or 3, who knows) -- well, a later version of him.
Guy in the blue robe-- Hyoko; as already mentioned, he fought against Kenshin. Had some pretty cool hidden assassin tool things.

Basically, those 3 appeared during the Jinchu arc.

Also, it's interesting that they're putting adult Yahiko in the game.

I recognize the evil looking woman/guy next to the red/gray beast but I can't think of who it is. The beast though, I have no clue.
