Last Man Standing (Tim Allen's ABC Sitcom)

I barely got into it last year just as a time-killer.

I just started to watch the first ep of season 2... The show jumped ahead 3 years based on an infant in season 1 now being 4+ and one of the cast (the most attractive) was swapped out for someone that doesn't look or sound anything like the original.

WTF happened? I thought this show was supposed to be solid in ratings, not due for a complete re-tooling and worth abandoning by actors.

I don't know why the kid's older, but I'm not sure it jumped forward in time. The eldest is still a waitress, and it said she was going to be taking part time classes to go to med school last season (although part time, so might take a while), but the other daughters are also still the same point in their lives. I imagine he's older so he can be better incorporated, but it's definitely weird. As far as the new Kristin, I didn't realize that it was the same character at first honestly, not happy with the new actress. Also, not down with having the kid's dad in the show as much either. In the two episodes he's been in, he has definitely not been a likeable character. I don't remember him being such a hippie -- wtf at no dodgeball >.>

I was thrown off when I saw a different actress for Kristen and the sudden importance of the kid's father (previously played by Nick Jonas). Apparently the original actress for Kristen, Alexandra Krosney, left due to "creative differences."

Still got Mandy so I'm good.
