    Didn't see a thread for this movie in here...

    Went and saw it today, didn't see any commercials for it or anything before going so I went in not knowing anything other than having the typical meh feeling of seeing a horror flick.

    It was actually quite good, and I'm glad my girlfriend suggested we go. Enjoyed it a lot and it was pretty scary at some points.

    There was a thread I think but whatevers. Saw it yesterday and really enjoyed it. Best use of sound I've ever experienced. They used some really fucking uncomfortable music and sound effects at times.

    I would not classify it as that. Far more jumps and startles than violence or gore. Much closer to insidious with a grip of non graphic deaths than it is to saw or a slasher flick.

    It's quite good for a horro/scary flick. I was really surprised. It did seem like Insidious a bit, but it didn't suck. Of course there are some predictable parts like... come on, it's a horror film! But you can easily appreciate it. The music really assists the creepiness though. There are parts of the film where he watches film reels and you just kind of get hooked, wanting to see him watch the next one to find out what happened and piece the mystery together. Very exciting and it keeps you interested and anxious.

    I just remember as soon as it hit the person's face, which was really quick once the person appeared, there was just this blood curdling sound. The sound was the worst part of the movie. Just super creepy
