Now for what it is / why :D The person who you will be voting there is the wife of a great friend of mine who plays FFXI. They both have been married to each other for 19 years and play the game with each other as much as possible. They also spend time with each other watching movies and shows on Netflix but here is the catcher...

They only get to see each other TWICE a year. Their mobility vehicles are becoming much older and so the chance for his wife to win a new one will mean so much to each side of their families. Not only will it open more opportunities for them to see each other but his wife and her brother will be able to have a more secure vehicle to travel for appointments or where they need to be.

I know a stranger coming in here randomly spewing this isn't the most attractive thing, but this guy is a great friend. He is also an amazing husband to his wife. Help the guy out with just a single vote per day from here till May 10th :D

Voted twice now, because I'm still awake. It doesn't seem to actually require a 24-hour interval (which is how they worded it) so if you can figure out what time zone they're in (I'm tired and going to bed) you can give people an approximate time at which they may vote twice in rapid succession, which may be more convenient. Maybe. Or maybe the cycle is tied in to their server and that's somewhere else. But it could be worth looking into.

Anyway, voted because gamers of the non-douchebag variety should always be encouraged to continue to be a part of the overall gaming community. And also because that shit sucks. And because XI is a nice common factor. And other reasons. But mostly because it didn't require much effort, especially considering the potentially huge positive impact. Hope they win.

Edit: It occurs to me that it may have just accepted my second vote without counting it, but I dunno. I'll try again tomorrow.
