Ibooks VS Kindle. Can you get a ibook on the kindle?

So okay. I recently got a first gen kindle, which is on my amazon account. The trouble is..

I bought a certain book on ibooks for my old ipod touch a while back that is now available on amazon. (Dumb, I know.) I don't want to have to pay for it twice, is there any earthly way to un-DRM it and get it on my Kindle without having to rebuy it? I know, it's only eight bucks but rather be sure before I lay down the money. ^^

Op system on the Ipod in question is 4.2.1, it's a second gen ipod (I mean to rep it sooner or later but this is fugging annoying.) Oh and if you wanna know what, the offending book is Magic's Promise by Mercedes Lackey. (Nerd alert; she's a former City of Heroes player). My Itunes on this pc is the the latest version.

There is a reason people go all-in or nothing on Apple hardware. Everything about them requires only their hardware.

Kindle reads 2 or 3 formats including the proprietary, but not ibook. Google a converter or reach deep and determine if you are morally justified in finding compatible versions in the torrentverse...

Oh well, it's only eight bucks but I'll wait until I build up a few more gift cards from swagbucks; I'll keep looking to see if there's a converter that can break that darned DRM though.

This is why I don't like DRM. It was a dumb mistake to do, I do like the kindle but this is one little thing that's been bothering me. ^^ But sometimes you have to pay for your mistakes. ^^

I'd murder someone if I thought it'd get me some books set before the Gryphon books.
(And I got caught in the EXACT same situation a decade later with Sean William's The Crooked Letter. =/ )

I agree, wish she would! I guess we all make silly mistakes like this, though.

That'll be the last time I buy a ibook though. Like Mercedes Lackey, am sorry her mmo died, but I hate this stinking DRM. Why can't different e-readers just get along?!


Oh and I forgot; it's a first gen kindle fire; I actually am tapatalking from it.
