    Playonline crashing right before FFXI opens while using windower 4.

    Up til a week ago windower 4 was working perfectly, then I had to use vanilla FFXI to finish the earmuff quest. Now It crashes before the ToS screen opens up. Old windower doesn't work either and I deleted it. I'm using windows 8, and tried reinstalling windower 4 several times. Even my brother who is pretty tech savy has no idea what to do now after trying several different things. Halp please. D:

    Possible your registry settings got confused when you switched back and forth?

    Can you still log in to vanilla FFXI?

    I tried fixing the registry and reinstalling the drivers, but still nothing.
