    Blu Ray issue

Not sure if this is where to ask about this but I has a problem with a blu ray movie I just purchased: Fast & Furious 6 (steelbox extended edition).

Won't work on my PS3. It comes to the "Universal" opening logo screen, then just stays pitch black. At first I thought my PS3 might have just glitched/crashed/died but any other disc I put in works just fine (blu ray, dvd, game etc).

So I returned it to where I got it from (best buy), and of course they test it on their blu ray player at the geek squad retards and it works just fine. I told them it wouldn't on PS3 so I still get an exchange.

And of course the new disc does the same thing so I'm thinking either my PS3 is slowly dying, there's a possible software update for it that I don't know about, or Paul Walker's ghost is haunting me and really doesn't want me to watch the movie.

Anyone out there with any possible suggestions/solutions would be greatly appreciated.

This wont help, but I had a similar issue with a stand alone BD player.
The unit wasn't able to read /access / retain the info from the disk and I needed to put in a flash card to act as additional ram.

The PS3 shouldn't have the same issue, though there could be a slim chance that disk was somehow made to be PS3 incompatible; have you done any searches on anyone else having issues with it? Again, I had a similar issue with one of the harry potter disks in one of the various collections that just didn't play on my PS3, but worked anywhere else (didn't try another PS3, but it's still alive and kicking).

See if you can test on someone else's PS3.
IDK how well those lens cleaning kits do, but maybe that too.

It would seem after all that I am not alone:

Doesn't work on my fat or slim PS3, works fine on my actual blu-ray player though.

Sorry for the double, but I got it working. Disabled the internet connection and switched the internet access for movies to confirm from allow. Kick-Ass 2 was doing this as well and it also works now.

Yep did the same fix as well and works fine now.
