    High Tier elemental magic hmmmm
Also "additonal skirmishES", will there be more than one? I was expecting just Yorcia but I guess we're gonna get Ra'khaz too then?

Oh yes, plural could be for the 5 different maps from Torso I guess.
The boring part from Yorcia, realistically, was the fact that a good group had no way to make it faster since there was a fixed wait/time regardless of how good your group was performing.
The new "fast route" option is a nice addition but not enough.

They should've made the wait dynamic, according to how fast you deal with waves. That way Yorcia would've felt much much less boring and maybe challenging who knows.
Considering Alluvion is about pseudo-randomly generated maps, I'm not sure it will be about defending tents though. Or if it is, it will at least make it less linear to go hunt for Dens.

I wonder if that means tier 6 nukes. Or "new" spells. That image looks like a fire/thunder spell, or it could be like Demi or something.

Sounds like something for my BLM to get excited over... I wonder if the new tier elemental spells will also tie in with Job Points? As in Superior (Su1) spells? I probably shouldn't have said that. I wouldn't mind if there was a tier you can get normally with no requirements. If they did do something like that, I'd expect super MP efficient, powerful spells worthy of grinding out JPs to use them.

Hell make them even SCing spells... Su1 Wind + Su1 Thunder = MFing Fragmentation

Meh maybe too much dreaming... However I'm interested in the new Alluvion Skirmishes and the Job Adjustments. Hoping for a lot more adjustments this time around.

    Oh and pup attachments.

Would be interesting if they made them hybrid spells, like the hybrid elementals (gefyrst, baelfyr, etc)

They specifically said gift spells. I hope to see gift job abilities in the future for melee jobs, or even gift weapon skills.

Double element spells sound cool but their resist states sound troublesome. Unless they make it similar to level 2 and level 3 skillchains, where the element of the spell is determined by whichever element the target is weakest to, then it would deal full damage. So an ice/water spell cast on a fire mob would take on water element 100% of the time but against a wind mob would take on ice 100% of the time.

Come to think of it, whatever happened to those spells from the .dats from like 2004 "Ignis, Terra, Aqua, Aer" etc. They're still available to see in AltanaViewer and people always said they looked like dual element spells.

    Whawhawha~
Watch you have "cracked the code" and those are the "su" spells.
(I wonder how much JPs are needed for these Gifts... More than 95? Less than 50? It's probably 100...)

That could still be troublesome with day/weather effects

Wouldn't the next Gift be at 110, if they follow the same pattern?

Doesn't have to be. There was a gift at 50 and 55 i think and 5 and 10 gotta recheck. People who are 10/10 on all current categories are at around 330, which should autocap any new gifts for the next few updates.

And Dasava, it would follow the same rules as skillchains during day/weather, or did you mean obi/storm spells?

Hmm Demi. That spell also looks a lot like kaustra, maybe kaustra 2?

I thought so too, however kaustra is dark magic. I was thinking a direct non elemental single target nuke, kind of like ruin or meltdown. But maybe not because Kaustra in JP version is called Merton which is the engrish form of Meltdown from snes ff6. I doubt it would be a series of earth-thunder because that would require 6 new spells from gifts. Likely 2-3 new spells probably unique spells. To have stone 6, fire 6, for example would be awkward considering they'd probably cost like 400mp and have huge cast times and would only be for 2 jobs(blm and sch). So far though the only elemental magic that is shared among rdm blm drk sch geo are single targets but to release tier 6's wouldn't benefit drk geo rdm.

I meant for actual weather/day procs using obis or otherwise. Even if we got an all element obi so we wouldn't have to worry about which one to use if you don't know which element the spell will be it's hard to plan which day/weather to have.

SE why more skirmish q_q give us something hard. Here's to hoping it's a new armor set that doesn't involve upgrading current +1s cause I'm not down to waste a ton ofgil on new augments when this is already 119. No more weapons either plz cause there's already 664662 119 weapons for every job now
