    Youtube issues

For a while now I been having a weird problem with youtube. Some videos just don't play, but if I copy the link while the load screen is happening, and then paste it in a new tab, the video will play fine.

Youtube scripts hang a lot too. I don't know what exactly but anytime I change page, some script stops responding but I can just wait it off and when the prompt comes up I click to close the script and after that the page loads fine, until I change page again.

I use youtube all day everyday so this is seriously irritating, the only thing I could find on firefox website is to add a plugin called yesscript wich I did but it just does the same thing minus the script crash prompt.

Try a different browser, like IE11 (install a tracking protection list, such as fanboy's tpl), chrome (install ublock), chrome-based opera (ublock as well), or make sure your firefox is the latest one for your branch (stable, beta, or alpha branches). Are you using greasemonkey/stylish/etc scripts?

Could also try making a new profile for your firefox install: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Creating_a...ile_on_Windows This is like having a fresh install with no settings, addons, etc. If you're using some privacy plugins for firefox, maybe they're blocking necessary things for youtube to function right. Is your browser loaded with crap-plugins from other programs?

Firefox has: Noscript - Adblock+ - Yesscript and skype click to call.

I just tried lolIE and.... it works like a charm, and even loads faster -_-.

I tried clearing the cache with ccleaner, still happens on Firefox.

There's hardly anything lol about IE anymore; just install fanboy's TPL on it for basic adblocking (you already use fanboy's lists in other adblockers). I mentioned creating a new firefox profile since there's things that cache cleaning doesn't fix that a new profile might (just don't muck the new profile up right away with addons, just get abp and try, then noscript and try, etc, can import your settings from other profile). You probably shouldn't mix yesscript and noscript together since they do the same things: noscript blocks first, enables later while yesscript does nothing until you tell it to, which is a little more dangerous/pointless if you care to block scripts at all.

    Is the latest flash installed?

So the security issues with IE are things of the past?

The yesscript is a new addition, youtube was doing it before so I installed yesscript to add youtube so it didn't run scripts. Problem is it still hangs, I just get no notice about it.

Now that I think about it, scripts messing up while on youtube sounds like a rogue addon or program. Do you also randomly get ad-links on any page you visit (usually based on some random word within the page; usually opens a popup on mouse hover)? They can install invisibly into the browser; maybe do a scan with malwarebytes or check your program list for anything you don't recognize.

I was having the same exact problems last week and turned out my Flash Player somehow got corrupted. I just reinstalled in and have had no problems since.

I did have to uninstall and reinstall flash recently.... it wouldn't update so I got the adobe uninstaller and removed it, and then redownloaded it. Still did it EDIT: I just re-tried to confirm. Still does it.

No, I don't get random ad links

Well I'm out of ideas. You did try making a new firefox profile right? Make the profile, don't modify anything, check youtube a bunch and see if anything is different (aside from the unfiltered ads everywhere lol). Could also try making youtube use html5 instead of flash, https://www.youtube.com/html5 (click the button toward the bottom of the page). Just be sure to enable the right things with noscript so it actually can use html5 otherwise it falls back to flash (allow googleapi and googlevideo, probably some other stuff too). Maybe something will change. <- now out of ideas lol.
