"They Disappeared US": Chicago Police operate CIA-likened "black site"

I know there's police threads, but this is particularly scary, deserving of its own thread.
What the fuck is this shit?

If their clients were arrested and taken to a secretive location, how would the attorney know they were arrested much less where to check?

Sounds like an investigative detail is working out of there and using the 48 hour hold rule to circumvent the need for reading miranda rights. If it were a bigger deal I imagine more than just 3 guys arrested at the same time would have come forward.

The junkie that chased the dragon too much? Sad, but not anywhere remotely caused by him being in there. Probably better he died there than to be discovered in a vacant project house 6 months later.
