A genuinely fun challenge that was fair, skill based and encompassed three different significant elements. Tony being a dumbass and getting exactly what he deserved. My all-time challenge crush Averey taking a stand, and winning the elimination like a boss. Pretty sure she beat Jodi mostly because she is 10 years younger and had more people helping her, but whatever, that wasn't easy and Jodi isn't a pushover.
The twist is an interesting one, that's for sure. One problem with having to nominate four people is that one of those people is going to have the nominating rights after winning the next elimination, and they will also have to nominate four people, including one of your era, meaning there's a good chance that the same people are going to find themselves up for target every other episode, which would be frustrating. Oh well, I guess that's what good politicking will do, to get you out of that cycle.
Another issue is that 75% of each team is currently ineligible to be eliminated each episode, disincentivizing a significant number of players' performance in the Challenge.
Looking forward to more of this season.
